Sharjah Youth Shura Council Members Conclude Visit to Bahrain

Sharjah24: A delegation from the eighth session of the Sharjah Youth Shura Council, organised by Sharjah Youth and Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah under the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators, concluded their visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain by learning about the parliamentary process during a special visit to the Shura Council in the Kingdom of Bahrain. They were warmly received by Karima Mohammed Al Abbasi, the Secretary-General of the Shura Council.
Al Abbasi emphasised that the strong historical ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates serve as a leading model for mutual fraternal relations. She noted that these solid relations are reflected through the exchange of experiences, cooperation in parliamentary work, promotion of democratic practices, and empowering youth for active future participation in parliamentary work.

Al Abbasi explained that the General Secretariat of the Shura Council places great importance on strengthening partnerships and cooperation with various youth-related entities. She praised the unique and innovative ideas and initiatives presented by the youth, which reflect their actual needs and align with contemporary changes. She also highlighted the significant positive impact of these contributions on the council's operations and legislative outputs.

The members of the Sharjah Youth Shura Council delegation learned about the democratic and legislative process in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the efforts exerted by the General Secretariat to promote and spread parliamentary culture among the youth, as well as encouraging them to understand the role of the legislative authority in achieving national goals.

The members of the Sharjah Youth Shura Council expressed their happiness with this visit, which provided them with an ideal opportunity to learn and benefit from the experiences of others. They stressed the importance of leveraging these experiences to develop their future initiatives, enabling them to participate effectively in the advancement of their community.

This visit reflects the ambitious developmental plan of the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators, aimed at enhancing the skills of its members and developing their leadership abilities. This is achieved by opening new avenues for cooperation and partnership between the foundation and all youth-related institutions and organizsations at the national, Gulf, regional, and global levels, in line with its vision of being "a societal partner in building and empowering conscious and influential generations."
