Sharjah 24 – WAM: The Sharjah Charity International (SCI) completed 273 educational buildings abroad in 2023, including classrooms, schools, and major educational centres, as part of its "Let's Learn" initiative. This initiative focuses on enhancing education infrastructure in financially challenged regions by establishing these facilities, providing learning tools, and covering teachers' salaries.
Mohammed Rashid bin Bayat, Vice Chairman of the SCI's Board of Directors, stated that the projects, which cost 10.8 million dirhams, are expected to benefit over 10,000 students annually. He emphasised the SCI's commitment to monitoring the progress of these projects through its delegations, ensuring that construction stages are adhered to by the implementing agencies.
