Sharjah24: Abdullah Mohammed bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi chaired the second regular meeting of the Sharjah Camel Racing Club, the club's Chairman, and attended by all members of the Board of Directors.
The meeting took place at the club's headquarters and commenced with a speech by the chairman. He highlighted the significant role of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, in supporting camel racing. His Highness's unwavering commitment to empowering clubs, particularly the Sharjah Camel Racing Club, has been instrumental in their role of embracing camel owners from within and outside the Emirates. His encouragement has led to increased participation in races and festivals held at the Al Dhaid Camel Racing Field.

The chairman and the board expressed their gratitude to Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, for his decision to reconstitute the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Camel Racing Club. This decision is of great importance as it will bring new perspectives and ideas to the board, enhancing its effectiveness and impact on the club's operations.

The board then proceeded to finalize the allocation of administrative roles, with Mohammed Obaid bin Hamed Al Tunaiji taking on the position of Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and assuming the responsibilities of Chairman of the Media and Community Activities Committee and the Racing and Training Committee. Salem Rashid Abdullah Al Mahyan Al Ketbi has been appointed as Chairman of the Legal Affairs Committee, Khaled Matar Al Tunaiji as Chairman of the Support Services Committee, and Salem Mehayir Saeed Al Ketbi as Chairman of the Field (Technical) Committee.

After assigning administrative roles, Al Ketbi commended the council members for their responsibilities and urged them to dedicate their best efforts to support camel owners and work towards accomplishing the club's objectives in alignment with the visions and instructions of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, under the supervision and direction of the Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler.
