The UAE delegation, which includes 14 athletes across five sports—shooting, athletics, weightlifting, judo, and cycling—will compete among 4,400 athletes from 23 sports in Paris.
The shooting team, comprising Abdullah Sultan Al Aryani, Saif Al Nuaimi, Obaid Al Dahmani, Aisha Al Shamsi, and Aisha Al Muhairi, will train at the Chateauroux shooting centre in central France until August 31, when the first competitions begin.
Coach Mohammed Hussein reported that the team is fully prepared and optimistic about achieving success. Abdullah Sultan Al Aryani, competing in his fifth Paralympic Games, aims to add to his impressive tally of medals, including gold from London 2012 and Tokyo 2020.
