He highlighted that all sectors, especially traffic, have achieved a 100% readiness level, guaranteeing the security of the traffic process on both internal and external roads in the emirate. The plans were formulated based on statistical analysis and information gathered through road security patrols and digital surveillance cameras. Additionally, periodic meetings with Sharjah Police partners, including the General Command of the Amiri Guard, the Roads and Transport Authority, Rafid Vehicle Solutions Company, and the suburban councils, contributed to the development of these plans.
The traffic plan involves augmenting traffic surveillance on both internal and external roadways, and reallocating patrols based on ongoing developments. The primary emphasis is on heavily congested roads to facilitate an unhindered and safe movement of vehicles.
He commended the ongoing efforts of both public and private institutions in establishing an educational environment aligned with the emirate's aspirations and conducive to the efficient functioning of the educational process. He also acknowledged the collaborative efforts of partners in enhancing road safety, while extending his well wishes for a productive and secure academic year for all.
At the third periodic meeting of the Minor Traffic Accidents Planning Committee in the Emirate for the year 2024, Brigadier Al Naour, from Rafid Vehicle Solutions Company, assumed the role of chairman. The meeting was attended by Ahmed Juma Al Musharrakh, CEO of Rafid Company and Vice Chairman of the Committee, Colonel Omar Bu Ghanem, Deputy Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department, Abdul Rahman Kanoun Al Shamsi, Director of the Accidents and Roadside Assistance Services Department, and several other officers with relevant expertise.
During the meeting, various agenda items were addressed such as the preparation plan for the 2024-2025 academic year, outcomes of the partner's secret shopper initiative for the first half of the year, and an overview of transactions at the police office at Rafid Company. Additionally, the meeting involved a review of the recommendations from the previous session and the actions taken in response.
After the meeting concluded, Al Naour, along with Al Musharakh, recognized outstanding employees from both teams for their exceptional work in reducing response time and enhancing the delivery of services to the community.
Several customers who utilized the electronic incident planning system were recognized for their contributions. Their involvement eliminated the necessity to relocate a resource due to the system's efficiency and preparedness in handling all incident-related procedures.
