SP boosts community awareness with summer initiative

SP urges drivers to follow safety guidelines in desert areas

Sharjah24: The General Commander of Sharjah Police has partnered with the Emirates Schools Establishment (ESE) and the Districts Affairs Department to organise a summer program titled "A Beneficial Summer." A two-week program was organised in the Al Suyoh Suburb, focusing on families and children. The main objective was to raise community awareness and promote knowledge in different areas.
Colonel Ahmed Al Marri, Director of the Community Police Department, highlighted the significance of the "A Beneficial Summer" program as a key initiative by Sharjah Police to promote security and health awareness within the community. He emphasised the significance of creating a secure and positive atmosphere for all individuals. 

Sharjah Police is dedicated to maintaining and expanding programs and activities that support its community goals and promote the importance of security and safety.

Colonel Abdulrahman Al Khayyal, Head of the Suburbs and Neighborhoods Section, emphasised the program's comprehensive range of activities and events aimed at developing participants' skills, including swimming and physical fitness. The program also included specialised workshops for mothers, focusing on educating them about protecting their children from online dangers and empowering them to monitor technology usage.

Sharjah Police wrapped up its summer program by presenting certificates of appreciation to the participants, recognising the mothers who took part in the workshops. The police were proud of the program's success and the accomplishment of its goals in improving community awareness and skill development. Sharjah Police reaffirmed its dedication to arranging such significant programs that aim to foster a safe and secure community.
