Ahmed Salah stated in a special interview with "Sharjah 24" that this latest version introduces two new topics to the existing projects. The first project involves the implementation of sound wave sensors to enhance vehicles' ability to navigate physical obstacles effectively, while the second project focuses on the integration of infrared sensors to accurately detect and follow lines marked on the ground to guide the vehicles' path.
The workshop's scientific agenda emphasized the hands-on implementation of programming techniques for students' vehicles to navigate simulated Martian terrain. A detailed model of the Mars environment was utilized for this purpose, enhancing the students' practical understanding of the intricacies involved in navigation and control in extraterrestrial settings.
