The project is a training model designed to support and assist orphans and mothers in facing life with awareness and determination. It aligns with the Foundation's vision of leading sustainable empowerment for orphans and families, in line with the country's sustainable development goals.
The Foundation aims to achieve sustainable objectives by creating young leaders and inspiring individuals who benefit themselves and their families, and who are committed to their country and community. The project instills values of giving and responsibility, enhances their ability to create a stable and successful home environment, and supports the family in overcoming difficulties to achieve their goals and aspirations.
Nuha Othman, Performance Planning and Evaluation Executive, stated: "The Foundation has conducted a series of workshops for the 'Sanad al Bayt' youth project, including 8 workshops during the recent summer vacation. Each workshop lasted approximately a week and benefited a group of children and mothers by improving their social and family skills, instilling leadership concepts, and providing essential methods for managing household affairs and decision-making. The workshops also include specialised sessions for mothers to help them understand the importance and details of the project, maximise their benefit from the information provided, and encourage children to continue attending the workshops and applying the skills learned with their families."
She added: "The concepts introduced in the project play a complementary role in achieving the desired change and enhancing the skills of young people, whether personal, life skills, or skills that contribute to becoming productive, self-reliant individuals who can help others. It builds convictions that contribute to mental clarity and emotional stability, granting children abilities that improve their thinking, behavior, decision-making, and interactions with family members and others, leading to an inspiring, effective, and successful personality."
The "Sanad al Bayt" workshops are delivered through a studied and academically approved curriculum and a systematic, progressive plan, adding a future dimension to the lives of orphans and providing a qualitative shift to develop leadership skills that build a balanced personality, qualifying them to take on their responsible roles at home and offer support to the mother and siblings, benefiting the entire family.
