Sharjah 24: Abdul Rahman Al Siyabi, Coordinator of Qualification Programmes at the Khorfakkan Branch of the Sharjah Department of Human Resources, announced that the branch welcomed the first group of participants in the Sharjah Programme for Training and Qualifying Job Seekers on Monday, starting with an introductory workshop.
Launched following the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, the programme targets approximately 400 male and female job seekers in Khorfakkan.
Al Siyabi stated that the first batch of programme participants attended an introductory workshop today. The workshop covered the programme’s details and the Human Resources Law of the Emirate of Sharjah.
He further explained to “Sharjah 24” that the programme spans 6 months, with the first 3 months focused on qualification through specialised workshops led by experts, and the remaining 3 months dedicated to on-the-job training at government institutions and departments.
Al Siyabi noted that the programme embodies the visionary leadership's commitment to sustainable human development, serving as a solid foundation for preparing young job seekers for the future and integrating them into the labour market.
