Sharjah24: The Sharjah Islamic Affairs Department has officially opened the Al-Mubasharin Mosque in Al-Sajja Industrial Area. The mosque, built at the expense of a generous philanthropist, can accommodate 200 worshippers.
Abdullah Khalifa Yaarouf Al-Saboosi, the head of Sharjah's Islamic Affairs Department and the mosque's benefactor, attended the inauguration ceremony along with several Islamic affairs officials and members of the mosque opening committee.

The mosque's inauguration is part of the department's continued efforts to conform with the Emirate of Sharjah's development strategy, which includes meeting the requirements of local people and visitors, conducting religious ceremonies, and providing a spiritual atmosphere. This is consistent with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Sharjah Ruler of Sharjah.

Built in the Andalusian architectural style, the "Al Mubasharin" Mosque features a central circular dome and a 22-meter-high tower. It has an area of 900 square meters and includes a prayer hall, service facilities such as ablution areas and restrooms, and imam accommodations.

Al-Saboosi lauded the benefactor's efforts to build the mosque to address the requirements of the area's people, which include a large number of expats. He prayed for the donor's reward and noted that the department works closely with appropriate authorities to determine the demand for mosques based on population density and urban growth.
