Sharjah24: The Sharjah Sports Club's Chairman of the Board of Directors, Khalid Issa Al-Midfa, praised the club's summer program, "Our Distinguished Holiday," which it organised last July under the sponsorship of the Sharjah Sports Council and in partnership with the Wasit Youth Centre.
According to Al-Midfa, the club and those in charge of the programe provided fantastic activities throughout the events. They desired to provide children with fresh ideas and activities that would raise their awareness, add new abilities, and occupy young people's time over the summer vacation, while also allowing them to have fun with their classmates and interact.
Al-Midfa emphasised that the organisers focused on a variety of activities throughout the camp, including sports, recreational activities, competitions, and skills designed to instill confidence and self-reliance in this age group. Furthermore, the associated events helped the camp achieve its objectives.
The Chairman remarked, "It is critical to use the summer period wisely for our children, to fill their free time, and to provide motivational and awareness programs that will benefit them in their future lives." Certainly, cooperation among all stakeholders supports and adds to the success of this unique concept, which has generated significant contact throughout the emirate."
