Sharjah crowned champion of Federation Fencing Championship

Sharjah24: The champions of Sharjah Sports Club secured first place in the Federation Championship for team sabre fencing, defeating Abu Dhabi Club in the final. The tournament saw participation from over 200 male and female athletes representing 10 clubs from across the country.

Silver Medal Achievement

In the épée category, the club's champions earned second place and silver medals after narrowly losing the final by one point to Abu Dhabi Club. The competition lasted two days and included events for both individual and team categories, as well as individual events for those under 13 years old.

Individual Medal Count

In individual results, the Sharjah team collected a total of seven diverse medals, including a gold medal in the under-13 foil category, along with a silver medal in men's sabre and two bronze medals in men's sabre and épée. Additionally, the under-13 team secured three bronze medals across all three weapons.

Notably, the sabre team comprised Khalid Ahmed, Hamid Al Mazmi, Abdullah Al Salami, and Ahmed Al Hammadi, while the épée team included Mohammed Al Mazmi, Imran Al Bloushi, Henry Shong, and Ziad Ali.
