Sharjah 24: On Thursday, the Sharjah Sports Club (SSC) team sports management had its first regular meeting to prepare for the 2024–2025 sports season at the club's headquarters in Saman.
Following the adoption of the names of the new administration members, the meeting took place. Mohammed Obaid Al-Hussan, a board member and head of team sports management, chaired the meeting, with new members Jassim Mohammed, Hamad Saleh Al Ali, and executive director Mamoun Al-Darous in attendance.

Al-Hussan welcomed the members and offered congratulations from the club's board chairman, Khalid Issa Al-Midfa, wishing them success in their respective duties. He also thanked the former board, chaired by Ali Salem Al-Midfa, and member Adnan Al-Khayyal for their work and contributions to the club's prior achievements.

He commended Issa Hilal Al-Hazzami's Sharjah Sports Council for its significant contributions to the growth of team sports in the emirate's clubs, particularly the Sharjah Sports Club. The council guarantees that all teams' demands are satisfied.

The meeting agenda included appointing Jassim Mohammed to handle handball and Hamad Saleh to manage basketball. The chairman asked each supervisor to offer their suggestions for the next season.

The group also focused on developing administrative and technical personnel for the team sports for the upcoming season, and reviewed the equipment and clothing requirements of the teams to ensure optimal preparation for the upcoming season. The group also scrutinised the management's financial strategy.

Al-Hussan wished the technical and administrative personnel well in the upcoming season, hoping that the club would build on its recent successes. He emphasised the necessity of rigorous administrative and technical preparation as well as accountability for maintaining these successes.
