The agreement was signed by Eng. Sulaiman Abdulrahman Al Hajri, a Member of the Board of Directors of Sharjah Sports Club and the Chairman of the Administration, and Dr. Mohammed Abdul Karim, the Chairman of the Academy, in the presence of Khalid Issa Al Midfa, the Chairman of the Board of Directors.
The agreement, a historic moment for the Individual Games Administration, was signed as part of its strategic initiative to advance game development. This marks the administration's first collaboration with private sector organizations, a significant step in its commitment to partnering with both public and private entities to enhance the sports sector and elevate the country's reputation on the international stage.
Engineer Sulaiman Abdulrahman Al Hajri expressed appreciation for the Sharjah Sports Council's efforts and support in approving the agreement. The main objective of the agreement is to activate the strategic initiative set by the Department of Individual Games and Sports Academies, which aims to develop players' technical level, raise their efficiency, and prepare them for advanced stages.
He continued that the partnership with the private sector brings several advantages. It enables our players to engage directly with seasoned professionals, improving their technical skills. Additionally, it contributes to promoting sports sustainability.
Al Hajri emphasized that the agreement allows the club to integrate exceptional academy players into the team following their successful completion of technical and administrative assessments, and subsequently secure their permanent registration with the club.
The director of individual sports stated that the agreement includes several key clauses, with the primary focus on elevating the skill level of local athletes and facilitating their participation in competitions.
