Sharjah24: Al Suyoh Suburb Council, which operates under the Department of Districts Affairs, is currently coordinating a series of summer activities in collaboration with the Community Police Department of the Sharjah Police General Command, conducted under the theme "My Useful Summer."
The Community Police Department prioritizes the development of youth and children through organised programs focused on instilling citizenship values and imparting knowledge and customs. These initiatives are overseen by the Districts Affairs within the Community Police Department.

The Al Suyoh Suburb Council teamed up with the Criminal Investigation Department of Sharjah Police to organize an instructive lecture titled 'Be Aware' as part of their regular activities.

Several participants and members of the council's summer activity attended the lecture, which was held Saturday morning at the council’s headquarters in Sharjah.

During the lecture, First Lieutenant Ashbah Hamad Al Ketbi addressed members of the council, Sharjah Police cadres, and individuals involved in summer and educational activities.

This lecture is part of the summer program in Al Suyoh suburb, which operates under the motto "My Useful Summer is and continues" and runs until July 31.

The program is designed to optimize the District Council's policies and maximize participants' benefits and engagement during their summer vacation by implementing diverse educational and awareness activities and initiatives.

The lecture delved into critical subjects concerning situational awareness and personal and social safety. It emphasized the significance of maintaining vigilance and safety during the summer season, offering expert guidance on navigating diverse scenarios and mitigating potential risks.

During the session, the lecture fostered a constructive dialogue atmosphere, allowing attendees to exchange views and experiences on personal and social safety topics. First Lieutenant Al Ketbi emphasized the significance of self-awareness and offered practical advice to mitigate potential risks in the summer. The discussion also covered awareness of various potential risks, both in physical environments and through electronic media. This enriched the participants' understanding and equipped them with valuable knowledge to enhance their daily practices and ensure their safety and security.

After the lecture, the attendees showed gratitude for the effort made by Al Suyoh Suburb Council and Sharjah Police in arranging valuable activities aimed at increasing awareness and education among youth over the summer break.
