Friends of Arthritis Patients launches “Summer Without Fragility”

Sharjah 24: Shaima Muhammad Taher, Assistant Director of the Friends of Arthritis Patients, reported that the second leg of the “Summer Without Fragility” campaign, in the city of Khorfakkan, achieved remarkable success as it attracted a large number of audiences.

In cooperation with the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club and the Ministry of Health and Community Protection, Friends of Arthritis Patients, organised, on Wednesday, on the banks of Khorfakkan Beach, the “Summer Without Fragility” campaign.

Shaima Muhammad Taher said that the campaign in its second phase, achieved remarkable success, and explaining that the campaign included several activities with the aim of raising awareness of the importance of early detection of osteoporosis.

Speaking exclusively to Sharjah 24 Shaima Muhammad Taher said that the campaign included free medical examination for different categories of the public, in addition to distributing awareness booklets, organising many sporting events for participants, cultural competitions, and recreational activities for children.
