Held on Tuesday evening at the club's headquarters, the workshop was led by His Excellency Hassan Al Bulghoni, Director of Corporate Communications at Sharjah Islamic Bank. The event was attended by His Excellency Mohammed Sultan Al-Khasouni, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mleiha Cultural Sports Club.
Al Bulghoni introduced the concept of sustainability, highlighting its growing importance in the investment world, particularly for emerging investors looking to build their businesses on principles of sustainable and responsible economic growth. He emphasised that emerging investors focus on sustainability by avoiding excessive exploitation of natural resources, reducing waste, and adopting practices that promote transparency and social and environmental responsibility.
He elaborated on sustainability strategies for emerging investors, stressing the importance of integrating economic, social, and environmental dimensions into their operations to achieve profitability while meeting current needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet theirs. Al Bulghoni conveyed to Mleiha Club members that these strategic approaches are vital to the role of emerging investors in building a sustainable economy that enhances community stability.
