The agreement outlines a wide range of collaborative efforts including infrastructure development and public service projects, agricultural initiatives and landscaping of SEWA buildings in Mleiha, supplying treated water from the Zulal Plant for agricultural use, formation of a joint committee to oversee the implementation, coordination meetings to exchange ideas on city development, and launching community-focused programs that promote environmental and economic sustainability
Abdullah Abdulrahman Al Shamsi, Director General of SEWA, emphasised that the agreement aligns with Sharjah’s long-term vision under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. He noted that this partnership marks a major step forward in service quality for the Mleiha region, supporting both community welfare and environmental goals.
Musabah Saif Awad Al Ketbi, Director of Mleiha Municipality, affirmed that the agreement is a strategic milestone in their mission to achieve comprehensive and sustainable development. He stated that this collaboration will significantly enhance infrastructure and elevate service standards for the people of Mleiha.
