Sharjah 24: Adel Khalid, representing the Al Hamriyah Olympic Sailing Team, won two gold and silver medals at the International M'diq Championship in Morocco. He won both the gold (master) and silver (overall) titles, competing against clubs from the UAE, Morocco, Egypt, Spain, and Senegal.
The competition, hosted by the Royal Maritime Club in M'diq from July 16 to 21, 2024, saw Adel provide an outstanding performance. He had previously won two gold medals at the "Dalia" Championship in M'diq last June.

Adel acknowledged his satisfaction at winning four medals in these tournaments, and he is now focusing on the forthcoming Rabat Championship to add to his accomplishments.

Coach Najib Basha of the Al Hamriyah Sailing Team praised Adel Khalid's exploits, as well as those of teammate Mohammed Al-Owais, who finished fifth overall and first among Emirati entrants. Basha promised to keep training hard to get on the podium in future tournaments.
