Sharjah 24: Sheikha Hind bint Majid Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Business Women Council, appreciated the announcement by President His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, of July 18 as the Union Pledge Day, which is considered a pivotal day in the history of the UAE.
She said, in a statement on this occasion, that the Union Pledge Day is a new national occasion that is added to the history of the country and reinforces in its people the values of loyalty and belonging and pushes them to complete what the founding fathers started with their wisdom and sound judgment.
She added that the Union Pledge Day constitutes for the people of the UAE and its institutions an integrated approach to the wisdom of management, foresight, and sound strategy. It reveals the value of adhering to pledges for the success of large projects. It confirms that building great achievements begins with pledging what these achievements require of faith, work, and sincerity, and this is what the founding fathers taught us. This is proven by the country's successful experience.
