Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) has achieved a significant milestone by successfully energising the initial stage of the Mleiha Dairy Farm project, ensuring the provision of electricity in compliance with the highest standards.
In the initial phase, the installation encompassed 10 transformers and the extensive laying of cables over a distance of 9,000 metres, boasting an impressive capacity of 11,500 kilowatts, totaling a cost of 36.225 million dirhams for the initial phase.
Eng. Khalifa Mohammed Al Tunaiji, Director of the Central Region at the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority, has expressed the Authority's dedication to ensuring that the Mleiha Dairy Farm receives all the essential services it requires.. A farm, which was inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has become the first of its kind in the Middle East with a focus on enhancing food security. The Authority is coordinating to provide the necessary support and services to ensure the success of this ambitious project.
According to Al Tunaiji, SEWA is committed to carrying out initiatives that benefit both the nation and the Emirate of Sharjah. The Authority fully utilises its resources to support these initiatives and strengthen collaboration with institutions in order to expand their operational scope and provide support for developmental projects in various sectors.
