The authority’s plan aims to reach the natural gas network to all regions in Sharjah, and in this context, continuous studies are being conducted to establish stations and implement extensions in the city of Sharjah in order to provide natural gas services to all regions and expansions in the city of Sharjah and the Eastern Region in Kalba and Khorfakkan.
He stressed that the number of subscribers to natural gas services in the Emirate of Sharjah is constantly increasing, and the authority is keen to encourage Sharjah residents to use natural gas as an alternative fuel to benefit from the multiple benefits it achieves compared to using liquefied gas (cylinders), as it contributes to preserving the environment and is available at all hours of the day and achieves safety and security.
He highlighted that the authority applies the highest and most accurate specifications and standards of quality and safety in network extensions, in addition to its competitive prices compared to using cylinders.
He added that the necessary procedures have been facilitated to enable subscribers to benefit from the services of the natural gas network, noting that the authority’s strategic plan includes continuing to implement natural gas projects in all regions, whether commercial, industrial or residential sectors, and the work teams of the Natural Gas Department are working hard to ensure access.
