Al Shamsi congratulates an officer on obtaining a PhD

Sharjah 24: Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police General Command (SPGC), in his office, congratulated Dr. Lieutenant Colonel Sultan Abdul Rahman Al Assam Al Suwaidi from the Special Tasks Department of Sharjah Police, on obtaining a doctorate degree in police sciences, specialising in police administration from Sharjah Police Sciences Academy (SPSA).
Colonel Dr. Sultan thesis was entitled “The effectiveness of transformational leadership in the agility of strategic change in security institutions”, after conducting an applied study on SPGC.

The thesis is one of the first studies that addressed the transformational leadership style and effectiveness in agile strategic change in security institutions, as it shed light through an applied study on the leadership styles followed in Sharjah Police, and the extent of benefiting from the transformational leadership style in the effectiveness of implementing strategic change agility.

Major General Al Shamsi praised the keenness of Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Sultan and his will to continue the academic journey and obtain the highest academic degrees in one of the important specialisations of police and security work, praising his efforts and perseverance in facing challenges with science and knowledge.

For his part, Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Sultan thanked SPGC Commander-in-Chief for his continued unlimited support for police personnel, and for providing them with opportunities to advance in the scientific process, the results of which are reflected in the interest of police work.
