Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Summer Sports activities, “Our Holiday is Different,” were launched at Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club, with an opening ceremony attended by His Excellency Humaid Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Club’s Board of Directors.
The opening day witnessed introductory meetings with the participants, and an explanation of the security and safety rules from the organising committee for the summer camp participants, which is supervised by the Sharjah Sports Council, during the period from July 1 to August 1.
The programme, on Tuesday, included various workshops and activities distributed to the two categories, from 7 to 12 years old and from 13 to 17 years old, most of which were based on introducing the Emirate.
Participants also benefited from sports, recreational, cognitive, and artistic activities such as basketball, water games, intelligence and mind games, and the Little Actor Programme.
Engineer Ali Al Muhairi, a member of the Board of Directors of Al Hamriyah Club, Chairman of the Organising Committee for “Our Holiday is Different,” confirmed that the work team has developed a rich programme of cultural, sports and entertainment activities.
