Sharjah 24: According to Ali Obaid Al Hamoudi, a member of the Sharjah Self-Defence Sports Club's (SSDSC) Board of Directors and Chairman of the Media and Government Communication Committee, the club's management hopes to improve professional and cultural skills while also discovering local sports talent through the "Our Holiday is Different" summer programme, which is sponsored by the Sharjah Sports Council. This is consistent with the club's strategic aim to maintain its top position among specialty clubs, which it achieved last season.
Al Hamoudi highlighted that the club aims for excellence in order to maintain its top position and contribute to sports sustainability. The programme committee has implemented innovative ideas to improve the programme, emphasising quality and incorporating technology, including virtual reality. Programmes such as Police Friends, Children's Care, and Sharjah Municipality Camp cater to participants' interests.

In addition, the club has added nine fresh interests to the summer programme: engineering, agricultural engineering, volunteering, legislative skills, junior first aid, digital content production, entrepreneurship, diving, and medical training. This summer, club players will compete in foreign tournaments such as the West Asian Judo Championship in Jordan and the Sharjah Jiu-Jitsu Cup.
