SSDSC: Graduation of 23 Jiu-Jitsu referees

Sharjah24: The Sharjah Self-Defense Sports Club (SSDSC) is excited to announce that 23 referees from its membership have successfully graduated, obtaining local and international officiating credentials in Jiu-Jitsu.
This accomplishment is the result of the referees meeting all the necessary requirements and successfully completing courses organised by the UAE and Asian Jiu-Jitsu Federations. It is a remarkable international achievement for speciality clubs and individual sports. This achievement showcases the Sharjah Sports Council's commitment to improving technical expertise in various fields.

Excellency Ahmed Abdul Rahman Hamid Abdullah Al Owais , Chairman of the Club’s Board of Directors extended his congratulations to the club family and the graduating referees on their remarkable achievement. He expressed his well wishes for their success in successfully handling the competitions they will be responsible for. He also acknowledged the significant contribution of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation and its dedication to advancing the sport.

Al Owais highlighted the referee initiative's goal of assisting club players in promoting the practice of Jiu-Jitsu and utilising their significant potential to prepare for future challenges. He also commended the exceptional work and guidance of the youth national team coach and the club's technical director for Jiu-Jitsu, Ibrahim Al Hosani, in identifying and nurturing talent.
