The workshop, which was presented by Finance and Investment Advisor Abdullah Al Etr, focused on introducing participants to the mechanisms for developing the business model and building marketing skills for the project. This comes with the aim of qualifying and training entrepreneurs and owners of new or existing projects, so that they are able to make their projects successful and continue developing them. This ensures the creation of a successful entrepreneur, capable of meeting the requirements for success in the labor market and its sustainability, and constantly keeping pace with the business and investment sector changes facing economies and markets of all types and causes, leading to enhancing the business environment for emerging, small and medium-sized companies in Sharjah.
Likely, the workshop covered many topics, the most important of which were project formation, business model development, secrets of commercial excellence, how to manage cash flows and cost management, and continuous construction in order to achieve continuity.
Commenting on that, Ahmed Saif bin Saed Al Suwaidi, Deputy Director of Commercial Affairs Department at SEDD, emphasized on the importance of conducting different training courses continuously for entrepreneurs in a way that goes in line with their projects and the changes taking place in the economic arena, which contributes to consolidating Sharjah’s vision to improve the economic and innovative process as well as contribute to the economic sector.
Al Suwaidi added that SEDD seeks through organizing such workshop and training courses to improve entrepreneurs’ skills and knowledge in their field, highlight factors that affect the success of their projects, in addition to the factors that contribute to the development of their projects, with the aim of creating an ideal climate for investment and business continuity, and providing all means and capabilities to advance their sectors.
