Sharjah 24: Khorfakkan Club for the Disabled won the 5x5 Wheelchair Basketball League title after defeating Dubai Club for the Disabled 63-45 in the final match on Saturday, which marked the end of the National Paralympic Committee-sponsored 2023-2024 sports season.
Mohammed Fadel Al-Hameli, Head of the National Paralympic Committee, and Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, declared Khorfakkan Club for the Disabled the competition's winners.
He complimented them on their exceptional performance throughout the season, which allowed them to win the championship, and lauded their players, coaching staff, administrative team, and club leaders. Al Hammadi expressed his gratitude to all of the clubs that competed in the competition, emphasising the tournament's technological advancement and hoping that it would continue to strengthen in the coming years, helping national teams.
