Sharjah24: During its regular meeting at the club's headquarters, the Board of Directors of Al Dhaid Sports Club, led by His Excellency Salem Mohammed bin Huwaiden, discussed numerous significant sports-related issues pertaining to the club's progress. Additionally, they covered various essential points related to supporting the club's sports, cultural, and community activities.
A key topic addressed was the detailed plan for the Sharjah Summer Activities Programme, titled "Our Holiday is Different," and the preparations for it. This programme is sponsored by the Sharjah Sports Council.

This meeting underscores Al Dhaid Club's ongoing dedication to nurturing younger generations and harnessing their potential, guided by the directives and vision of the Ruler of Sharjah. The board stressed the importance of meticulously following through on the planned programs and activities to ensure their objectives are met, while also providing necessary support to the youth and children across various fields.

The meeting, held this morning, included the attendance of several dignitaries: His Excellency Humaid Abdullah Al-Sudairi Al-Khatri, Vice Chairman and Financial Director; His Excellency Rashid Abdullah bin Huwaiden Al-Ketbi, Secretary General; His Excellency Khalifa Mubarak Salem Ubaid Dalmouk Al-Ketbi, Chairman of the Cultural Committee; His Excellency Rashid Saeed Ubaid Khamis Al-Tunaiji, Individual Games Supervisor; His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Saeed bin Mitref Al-Tunaiji, Chairman of the Media and Communication Committee; His Excellency Salem Ali Khalfan Al-Rafisa Al-Ketbi, Team Sports Supervisor; His Excellency Saif Ali Nasser Dalwan Al-Ketbi, Chairman of the Strategic Planning and Institutional Excellence Committee; His Excellency Malik Misbah Abdullah Al-Ketbi, Chairman of the Marketing and Investment Committee; and Mehir Ubaid Al-Khayyal Al-Tunaiji, Administrative Director of Al Dhaid Club.

The meeting highlighted the importance of the programme starting on July 1 and continuing for a month, focusing on its role in effectively utilising the time of youth and children during the summer through a variety of sports, cultural, and community activities.

His Excellency Salem Mohammed bin Huwaiden, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Dhaid Club, affirmed that the club continually seeks to enhance its programs and activities to align with the community's aspirations and the needs of the youth and children. Bin Huwaiden reiterated that Al Dhaid Club is committed to the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, which focuses on supporting and developing the new generations and positively and constructively investing their energies. Hence, Al Dhaid Club annually monitors and develops its programmes to provide an ideal environment that boosts youth capabilities and aids in building a knowledgeable and cultured society.

Bin Huwaiden added that Al Dhaid Club's role extends beyond sports activities to include a wide range of cultural and social events aimed at developing youth skills and fostering cooperation and teamwork among them. He noted that the "Our Holiday is Different" programme is a valuable opportunity for the youth to utilise the summer period productively, allowing them to learn new skills and engage in various activities that aid in their personal development and future building.

Concluding the meeting, bin Huwaiden emphasised the importance of ongoing collaboration between the club, the Sharjah Sports Council, and all relevant parties to achieve the best outcomes for sports clubs. He expressed his hope that these joint efforts will help in building a conscious and strong generation capable of taking responsibility and actively contributing to the progress and development of society.
