The event featured Syrian poet Mustafa Al-Hajji, Yemeni poet Raad Aman, and Mauritanian poet Albou Ould Mahfouz. This session, part of the Tuesday Forum series, was moderated by Ragheed Jatal. The gathering saw the presence of poet Mohammed Abdullah Al Buraiki, director of the House of Poetry, along with numerous literary and academic figures, critics, and a large, engaged audience.
Ragheed Jatal opened the evening by expressing profound gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for his dedication to poetry, Arab identity, and morals. Jatal also praised the Sharjah Department of Culture and the House of Poetry for their unwavering support of creativity and poets.
He highlighted the successes of this pioneering initiative and thanked His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah for establishing the House of Poetry, which has become a beacon of Arabic poetry and language.
Jatal acknowledged the significant efforts of His Highness in preserving the Arabic language and supporting cultural endeavors, and extended thanks to the Department of Culture, represented by Abdullah Al Owais and Mohammed Abdullah Al Buraiki.
