Sharjah24: Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, the Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, honored on Wednesday, His Excellency Engineer Yousuf Khamees Al Athmani, the Chairman of the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA) , and Dr. Engineer Mohsen Belhawan, the Head of the Traffic Improvements Committee, along with the committee members, including Engineer Dr. Abdullah Al Ali, Engineer Hamad Al Housani, Engineer Wael Mansour, Engineer Hamad Al Nuaimi, Engineer Thomas Wargis, and Engineer Sumita Nidira. The ceremony was attended by Brigadier Dr. Ahmed Saeed Al Naour, the Director-General of Central Operations, and Colonel Mohammed Al Ali, the Director of Traffic and Patrols Department at Sharjah Police.
The recognition was given to acknowledge the efforts of the committee and their cooperation with the Traffic and Patrols Department in implementing traffic improvements and enhancing safety on the roads of the Emirate. The Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police praised the efforts of the Traffic Improvements Committee in the Authority, which contributed to raising the level of traffic safety. He emphasized that the joint committee between Sharjah Police and the Roads and Transport Authority had achieved positive results in supporting the goals aimed at ensuring the safety of road users and enhancing traffic safety, which aligns with the vision of sustainable development that meets the aspirations of the wise government.

The Chairman of the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority expressed his appreciation for the warm recognition, affirming the Authority's commitment to adopting a developmental and pioneering approach through collaboration with various relevant entities to achieve common goals and enhance the road system in the Emirate according to the highest international standards. He commended the continuous cooperation with Sharjah Police, aiming to achieve security and safety in the field of traffic.
