Sharjah24: With the theme "Our Schools are Safe and Sustainable," the Sharjah Prevention and Safety Authority (SPSA) participated in the First Environment, Health, and Occupational Safety Forum (EHOSF) in the Education Sector.
The Emirates Schools Establishment organised the forum, which was held in the Zayed Educational Complex in Al Suyoh, Sharjah. It featured a variety of activities, as well as educational and awareness programs on environmental, health, and safety issues.
The forum aims to highlight excellent practices in environmental, health, and safety within educational institutions, thereby increasing awareness and knowledge among students and specialists.

Sheikh Khalid bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Prevention and Safety Authority in Sharjah stated that the Authority's participation in this forum aims to provide expertise and knowledge in the field of prevention and safety, as well as raise awareness about the importance of implementing safety standards in educational institutions to protect students and the entire educational community.

In recent years, the Authority has organised a series of workshops on school environment safety for teachers and students. The workshops included educating professors and students about potential risks and how to respond in an emergency, demonstrating the Authority's continuous commitment to meeting the highest safety standards in educational institutions.
