Sharjah 24: The Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Municipalities, Security and Public Utilities Affairs Committee of Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) held a meeting yesterday at the council's headquarters in Sharjah. The session focused on discussing the committee's roles within the council's framework to improve the coordination of work among government institutions.
During the meeting, the committee discussed ways to enhance the effectiveness of government sectors and the importance of ongoing visits to exchange ideas and align perspectives. These initiatives are a crucial component of the committee's work during the first regular session of the eleventh legislative term. The objective is to foster collaboration and synergy among different government entities, with the ultimate goal of providing top-notch services to the people of Sharjah, including citizens, residents, and visitors.
The meeting was chaired by Jameela Mohammed Al Shamsi, Chairwoman of the Committee, and attended by the committee’s members and dignitaries.
The committee expressed deep gratitude and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, a member of the Supreme Council and the Ruler of Sharjah, and to Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Chairman of the Executive Council of Sharjah, for their relentless efforts and close follow-up on improving government performance and enhancing cooperation among government establishments.
The committee highlighted the importance of the guidance and support from their Highnesses, which serves as a great source of motivation to achieve greater accomplishments and enhance the quality of services offered to the community. The significance of their directives and follow-up cannot be overstated, as they demonstrate an unwavering dedication to enhancing government performance and advancing infrastructure and public services.
The meeting ended with the committee restating its dedication to persistently work and coordinate with all relevant entities to achieve its goals and aspirations in serving the community and anticipating the growth experienced by the Emirate of Sharjah in all fields.
