SEC forms Shariah Oversight Committee for Endowments

​The meeting, held on Tuesday morning at the office of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah 
, to discuss various topics on its agenda on the progress of government work in the emirate, the development of various services, and the monitoring of developmental projects across different sectors.
SEC approved a draft law amending certain provisions of Law No. (2) of 2018 on the organization of the Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Establishment (SNQSE) , and directed its referral to the Sharjah Consultative Council.

Additionally, SEC issued a decision on the formation of the Shariah Oversight Committee for Endowments in the Emirate of Sharjah. The decision stated that the committee should be formed under the chairmanship of Dr. Qutb Mohammed Al Raisouni, with the following members:

Judge Salem Matar Al Housani, Vice Chairman.
Judge Dr. Ibrahim Rashid Al Shadaifat, Member.
Judge Obaid Mohammed Ibrahim, Member.
Dr. Awad Hussein Khalaf, Member.
Ibrahim Abu Ismaeil Amour, Secretary.

SEC also received a presentation on supporting the fishing sector in the Emirate of Sharjah and unifying efforts to enhance cooperation among cooperative associations for fishermen , with the aim of maximizing the benefits for fishermen and increase interest in the fishing career.
