The “Kings”  secured a total of 7 medals, including 5 golds and 2 silvers, in a tournament that saw participation from over 400 athletes representing various clubs across the country. Events ranged from middle and long-distance races to jumping and javelin throwing for categories under 16, 18, and 20, both for male and female athletes.

In the men's category, they bagged two gold medals in the 4x100m relay and 4x400m relay races, courtesy of champions Mohammed Hassan Al-Nubi, Sultan Salman, Salem Ali Hassan, and Muath Fawzi.

In the hammer throw event, the star athlete Mohammed Ashoush clinched the gold medal, while the club's athlete General won the 1500m and 800m races.

In the sprint races, Sultan Salman of Sharjah Sports Club secured the gold medal and first place in the 400m race, while his teammate Muath Fawzi claimed the gold medal in the 400m hurdles race.

Engineer Sulaiman Abdul Rahman Al-Hajri, Board Member and Head of Individual Games, congratulated the team on their outstanding performance, highlighting that winning the Emirates Cup marks a historic achievement as it's the club's first title.

Al-Hajri explained that this victory is primarily attributed to the unwavering support of the sports patron and His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, noting the significant role played by the Sharjah Sports Council. He underscored their efforts in nurturing talented athletes and the policies set by the Individual Games Management for years, aimed at establishing a base of promising players.

"We congratulate the Athletics team on this achievement and the excellent results they continue to achieve. Our confidence in them and in all the club's individual sports teams knows no bounds, and we rely on them to achieve more accolades for the smiling emirate," he said.

The tournament was attended by Fahd Abdullah bin Juma, Deputy Chairman of the UAE Athletics Federation, Engineer Sulaiman Abdul Rahman Al-Hajri, Board Member of the Sharjah Sports Club, Head of Individual Games, and Nasser Mohammed bin Ashour, Secretary-General of the Athletics Federation, along with members of the federation.
