The council has been organizing annual competitions in educational research and Quran memorization, in collaboration with the Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Establishment, under the supervision of the Department of Suburban Affairs, with the aim of discovering and nurturing talents in various fields.
The ceremony, held on Sunday evening at the Quran Academy in Sharjah, was attended by Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al Maalla, the Chairman of the Sharjah Parents Council, Manaa Al Darmaki, the Director of the Student Parents Council Administration, Mohammed Salem Al Janibi, the Director of the Sharjah Red Crescent Society, Sharjah Branch, and Shaima Al Ali, the Head of the Educational Affairs Department at the Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Establishment, along with a large number of parents, students, and members of the council's administrative body.
After reciting verses from the Noble Quran and watching a visual presentation about the competition, Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al Maalla delivered a speech, emphasizing the importance of honoring a group of students who have been blessed by Allah Almighty to memorize His noble book and carry this trust.
He mentioned in his speech that the current edition of the competition saw the participation of 160 male and female contestants from various categories, and 36 winners were selected from different categories. Additionally, the current edition also celebrates the winners of the third edition of the educational research competition, in which 42 contestants competed, and 9 winners emerged from various categories, including students, teaching staff, and parents. The research was divided into three main axes: education with love, inclusive education, and digital learning.
Afterward, Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al Maalla and Manaa Al Darmaki honored winners in recognition of their efforts in memorizing Quran.
