Sharjah24: In continuous cooperation between the Khalidiya Suburb Council of the Sharjah Department of Suburbs Affairs (SDSA) and the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, the Council launched its charitable initiative “From You and to You” for the seventh year in a row, and for the second time this year, to distribute 3,600 food commodities to 200 families.

The initiative comes within the efforts of the Council and the Authority to provide support and assistance to families in need, with the aim of providing their basic needs, especially in light of the circumstances that many individuals and families are going through in the suburb.

The distribution process was organised directly in accordance with the established controls and procedures.

Council and Authority officials expressed their happiness with the continued participation in this humanitarian initiative, which reflects social solidarity and the spirit of giving in society, stressing the continuation of their efforts in providing support and assistance to those in need and achieving well-being and stability for all.

In turn, Khalfan Saeed Al Marri, Chairman of the Khalidiya Suburb Council in Sharjah, indicated that the Khalidiya Suburb Council works diligently and with dedication to provide support and assistance to families within the community, pointing out that the 'From You and To You' initiative is launched for the seventh year in a row and the second time this year reflecting the Council's strong commitment to serving the community and promoting stability.

Al Marri expressed his thanks to the Emirates Red Crescent Authority for their continued partnership in these humanitarian efforts.
