Sharjah24: During the blessed Eid Al-Fitr celebrations, Al Khalidiya Suburb Council, under the jurisdiction of the Districts Affairs Department, launched its seventh consecutive community "Eid Sweets" initiative in collaboration with the Omani Sweets Factory. The initiative aims to distribute sweets to families residing in Al Khalidiya Suburb.
This initiative is part of the council's ongoing commitment to execute periodic community initiatives, embodying its societal role by sharing the joy of Eid with residents, bringing happiness and delight into their hearts.
The initiative included the distribution of a substantial quantity, totaling 122 luxurious thermal containers of Omani sweets to families in Al Khalidiya Suburb on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr. The distribution was conducted under the direct supervision of the council president, staff, and the women's committee.
His Excellency Khalfan Saeed Al-Marri, Chairman of the Khalidiya Suburb Council, emphasised the council's dedication to implementing such initiatives aimed at strengthening social ties between the council and residents, contributing to the joy of Eid Al-Fitr.
Al-Marri also expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Omani Sweets Factory and its owner, Ali Al Sayyabi, for their constant and fruitful cooperation with the council in numerous initiatives and activities, which reflects their love for participating in community initiatives.
