The program is part of the department's training program plan and coincides with the World Day for Safety and Health at Work, observed on April 28th each year. Its objective is to equip participants with the skills to implement preventive measures and safety procedures in the workplace, while motivating employees to adhere to these practices to ensure a healthy and safe work environment. The program also raises awareness about dealing with various types of accidents and hazards at construction sites and prepares participants for emergencies and response.
The program is conducted over four days with the participation of 40 candidates covering several key topics, including an introduction to occupational health and safety and its concepts, risk management, safety in construction, safety in the workplace environment, worker welfare, and practical applications.
