Sharjah 24: Abdul Latif Mustafa Al Qadi, Supervisor of the Shelter Centre in Sharjah City, stated that the Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Team in Sharjah, under the direction of Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, has tasked the UAE Red Crescent Society Sharjah Branch, Sharjah Civil Defence, and Sharjah Volunteering Centre affiliated with the Department of Social Services to be present at the shelter centres to receive families affected by the weather conditions.
Al Qadi emphasised that the work teams have been fully prepared to receive the affected families since yesterday, and he expressed gratitude and appreciation to all partners, participants, and volunteers in the UAE and Sharjah for their diligent efforts, as well as the collaborative efforts and mutual cooperation of the relevant security and civil authorities.
