The camp, taking place from March 23rd to 28th, features approximately 23 specialized workshops and courses, which are conducted by a group of experts . The aim is to develop children's talents in various fields. Notable among these workshops are reading sessions that aim to enhance children's cultural awareness and improve their reading and writing skills. Some of the highlighted topics include illuminating tales, Ramadan in the Emirates, and the stories of Nujoom and Hilal. Additionally, there are sports activities aimed at promoting children's health and physical fitness, such as basketball, football, tennis, chess, a professional swimming program, and various life skills workshops like values ambassadors, crafts, and health.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn a range of artistic skills, including puppetry, shadow play, theatrical masks, and stage makeup. They will also have access to artistic workshops such as photography, editing, artistic creations, and a Ramadan arts workshop that focuses on creativity and innovation in creating handmade works related to the month of Ramadan. Other workshops aim to provide them with technical knowledge about clean and renewable energy and smart agriculture.
It is worth mentioning that the camp will be held in the morning from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at 12 centers across Sharjah, including Al Qarain, Al Khalidiya, Al Riqqa, and Al Hira. The camp targets children from these centers in Sharjah city, as well as the children's centers in Khorfakkan, Kalba, Dibba Al Hisn, and Wadi Al Helo in the Eastern region, and the centers in Al Thamid, Al Dhaid, Al Batayeh, and Mleiha in the Central region.
Through the Spring Camp, Sharjah Children aims to provide meaningful programs during school holidays, aiming to harness children's talents, refine their creative skills, and equip them with scientific and practical abilities through workshops and courses.
