The recent opening of a new medical fitness center was attended by several key officials, including Dr Ahmed Saeed Al Mazrouei, the Director of Kalba Municipality, and Adel Omar Salem, the Director of Public Health and Central Laboratories at Sharjah Municipality.

Obaid Saeed Al Tunaiji, the Director General of Sharjah Municipality, highlighted that this new center is part of the municipality's promise to make medical fitness services more accessible across different areas in Sharjah. Al Tunaiji explained that this center is just one of many spread throughout Sharjah, aimed at making it easier for people to access necessary health services. The municipality worked quickly to set everything up, allowing the center to start welcoming customers right after its opening.

Adel Omar Salem shared that the center has a dedicated medical team and state-of-the-art equipment to deliver excellent services. Currently, it offers medical exams needed for residency and occupational health cards for workers in various public health sectors. More services will be added over time. He mentioned that the process for customers is simple and efficient. Additionally, during the opening event, Sharjah City Municipality introduced a vehicle designed to monitor air quality throughout the city. This vehicle is equipped with advanced sensors that can detect various pollutants and will help city officials make informed decisions to improve air quality. The data collected will be valuable for understanding pollution trends and for planning initiatives like planting trees in busy areas.
