Bashaer Buhindi Al Mansouri, an Assistant Curator at the Sharjah Museums Authority, shared, during her interview with “Sharjah 24,” that this exhibition is held under the kind support of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. The exhibition showcases a unique blend of nostalgia and modern art, featuring the works of local artists Abdul Rahim Salem and Dr Najat Makki. Their art reflects important aspects of Emirati culture and values.
Dr Najat Makki's paintings focus on the important roles that Emirati women play in everyday life, highlighting their beauty and identity. Meanwhile, Abdul Rahim Salem's artwork portrays the unity and closeness of Emirati families, showcasing the diversity and richness of human experiences in local life.
Al Mansouri encouraged everyone to visit the exhibition, which will be at the Sheikh Saeed bin Hamad Al Qasimi House in Kalba. It is open every day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday to Thursday, and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Fridays.
