Sharjah24: After seven years of success, the Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Establishment (SNQSE) has begun its eighth edition of the Ramadan competition for government employees from various departments and entities.
The Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Establishment , through its committees held at the Establishment's headquarters in the city of Sharjah, has started testing the applicants in the competition after 178 male and female employees of the Sharjah government registered to participate in the Ramadan competition categories.
The tests will continue until the twenty-first of March to test 89 females and 68 males, totaling 157 participants who meet the competition's requirements, in the specialized committees. This comes in light of the remarkable success of the competition, as one of the distinguished Quranic competitions that the foundation organizes annually, in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to encourage community members to memorize the Quran.
It is worth mentioning that the departments and entities of the Sharjah government collaborated by nominating their employees to participate in the competition, especially since the competition witnesses the enthusiasm of employees to participate and compete in this eighth edition, which is characterized by an increase in the number of participants representing all government and semi-governmental entities in the Emirate of Sharjah.
The Ramadan competition, organized by Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Establishment as part of its Quranic awards, plays a role in promoting the values of the Quran and encouraging its memorization and recitation among employees. This award represents appreciation and recognition for the blessed efforts exerted by employees in persevering in memorizing the Quran.
