Al Hamriyah Municipality, Al Hamriyah Club launch Ramadan Village

Sharjah24: His Excellency Mubarak Rashid Al Shamsi, Director of Al Hamriyah Municipality, attended the inaugurating ceremony of the Ramadan Village organized by Al-Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club in partnership with Al-Hamriyah Municipality. The Ramadan Village is one of the main joint initiatives aimed at providing a different atmosphere for the residents during Ramadan.
The Ramadan Village was inaugurated on Friday evening in Al Hamriyah area, in the presence of His Excellency Hamid Hassan Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club, along with members of the club's board of directors, its members, a group of residents from the area, and invited guests. The village will offer various activities throughout the holy month under the supervision of the club's cultural and community committee.

During the opening, visitors had the opportunity to explore the village's activities, including sports programs, family sites, entertainment areas, and meeting spaces. There was also a draw for the upcoming sports and cultural events.

The municipality will launch a series of events, workshops, and lectures for children and visitors of the Ramadan Village. These include the "Ramadan Crescent" workshop organized by the Gardens and Parks Supervision Department, which aims to decorate the crescent moon symbolizing the month of Ramadan. There will also be a workshop on food safety conducted by the Public Health Department, as well as an agricultural workshop organized by the Agriculture and Gardens Department.

Mubarak Rashid Al-Shamsi, Director of Al-Hamriyah Municipality, invited the public to enjoy the diverse activities offered at the Ramadan Village. He expressed his hope that these events would be an opportunity for communication and unity among community members, promoting a sense of solidarity and compassion during the blessed month of Ramadan.

Al-Shamsi emphasized the importance of these activities in raising awareness among children and encouraging their active participation in Ramadan activities, which contribute to fostering a positive and interactive spirit during the holy month.

Hamid Hassan Al-Shamsi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club, stated, "At Al-Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club, we are proud to organize the Ramadan Village this year in collaboration with Al-Hamriyah Municipality. We consider this initiative as part of our responsibility towards the community."

He further added, "We always strive to provide services and activities that enhance social cohesion and promote a positive spirit among the residents of the area. We hope that this event will be an effective contribution to enriching the experience of the blessed month of Ramadan for the community. We invite everyone to actively participate and enjoy the activities organized at the Ramadan Village.
