Sharjah 24: The Department of Public Works, in cooperation with the Department of Islamic Affairs, completed the building and construction of Al Sidqq Mosque in the Block 19 area, in the city of Kalba, in Sharjah, especially with the advent of the holy month of Ramadan.
The new mosque adds new capabilities to accommodate worshipers and meet the needs of the local community. The mosque was implemented through joint efforts between the department and its strategic partners. The mosque can accommodate 240 worshipers, making it an ideal space for performing prayers and religious events for the residents of the region.

The mosque was designed in an elaborate architectural style that combines traditional and modern elements, giving it an attractive appearance that reflects the cultural identity of the region. The new mosque in Kalba comes to enhance the religious infrastructure in the city, and provides a place for prayer and meditation for worshipers in a diverse and interconnected community.

The addition of the new mosque in Kalba represents one of the important steps towards strengthening the religious infrastructure in Sharjah and providing religious facilities that meet the needs of the local community in an effective and appropriate manner.

Engineer Abdullah Al Tunaiji, Director of the Branches Department, pointed out the importance of the mosque as a cultural and religious landmark in the region and providing a suitable environment for worshipers and visitors alike. The works included the construction of a mosque on an area of 298 square meteres that can accommodate 240 worshipers, with an ablution, service buildings, toilets, and the imam’s residence, in addition to parking lots and pedestrian walkways paved with tiles.
