The Institute collaborated with the Iraqi Artists Syndicate to participate in the Baghdad exhibition. It published twenty books by Iraqi playwrights and researchers during the 14th session. In Muscat, the Institute collaborated with Luban Publishing House and published ten books by ten Omani playwrights.
The Institute made its publications available at the Cairo International Book Fair through Maraya Publishing and Distribution House. It offered incentive prices for Egyptian readers and considerable discounts for students.
The Secretary-General, Ismail Abdullah, expressed his pride in the Institute's role in providing a balanced and reliable theatrical culture that preserves the rights of writers and researchers while encouraging publishing bodies in the Arab world to give playwrights their due value. The Institute also provides its publications for Arab artistic academies to support the content of Arab playwrights in their libraries. Abdullah added that the Institute is developing a new plan for publishing and distribution to take its playbook to another horizon.
