Sharjah 24: Ismail Abdullah, Secretary-General of the Arab Theatre Institute, stated that the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, celebrated on Wednesday its Arab theatre guests during the opening of the 14th edition of the Arab Theatre Festival.
He added that Baghdad confirms, by hosting theatre artists coming from all parts of the Arab world, that it is able to organise a distinctive and exceptional edition of the Arab Theatre Festival.
He maintained, in statements to “Sharjah 24,” that the great support from His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, is the basis for the establishment of the Arab Theatre Festival.
The festival, which is organised by the institute, will continue until January 18.
