Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Youth Basketball team achieved an important victory over Al Jazira team with a score of (87-76), to continue to lead the Youth League competition, in the meeting that brought together the two teams, on Monday, at the Sharjah Sports Club hall in the Emirate, within the matches of the seventh round of the second preliminary round.
During the match Sharjah advanced in the first quarter (25-23), while Al Jazira won the second quarter in its favor (18-16), then Sharjah returned to superiority by 14 points in the third quarter (24- 10), and Al Jazira tried to reduce the gap in the fourth quarter (25-22).
Sharjah has two matches left in this tournament, with Al Wasl and Al Ain, as Sharjah seeks to take the lead so that it can host the semi-final matches, as well as the final round, in which the first-placed team meets the fourth-placed team, and the second- and third-placed teams play together, in a knockout system.
