Sharjah 24: Dr. Hanadi Al Suwaidi, Director of the Sharjah Centre for Learning Difficulties (SCLD), stressed the importance of the Project Discovery, which concluded its fifth edition, on Saturday, in cooperation with the Beacon College in Florida, in developing the skills of students with learning difficulties, and enhancing their self-confidence, through providing many workshops that include different activities.

She stated that the centre organised, on Saturday, in the presence of Sheikh Khalid bin Essam bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Civil Aviation in Sharjah, the closing ceremony of the fifth edition of the Project Discovery, which lasted 11 days, in cooperation with the Beacon College in Florida, witnessing the participation of 28 male and female students, with the aim of supporting and empowering people with learning difficulties.

She explained, in exclusive statements to “Sharjah 24,” that the goal of the project is to develop the skills of students with learning difficulties, enhancing self-confidence, and providing many workshops that contain different activities.

She added that this project comes as part of the commitment of the Sharjah Centre for Learning Difficulties, to provide diverse and innovative educational opportunities for students with special needs, and to enhance their integration into society, through educational and interactive activities.
